Kourtney attended Windcrest Dental Assisting School in 2011 and became a Registered Dental Assistant. Kourtney knew she wanted to be a part of the dental field because, in high school, she went with her mom and volunteered with the dental offices her mom had been working for at that time. She joined the dental field because she enjoys seeing people leave with a smile that they are comfortable with and confident in. Kourtney started working for Dr. Hawley in 2013 and plans on staying there for many years to come. In office, Kourtney schedules patients, verifies insurance, presents treatment plans/payment plans, and also assists with Dr. Hawley on procedures.
Kourtney moved to Dyess AFB in 2012 with her family where she met her husband. Her husband has been stationed at Dyess AFB since 2011. Kourtney and her husband recently expanded their family with a beautiful baby girl! She loves spending time with her family outdoors by going fishing, camping, and riding their horses.
Leya came to Abilene from Las Vegas in 2014. She and her husband have two wild sons and a beautiful daughter. Growing up, Leya had always loved visiting the dental office to get her teeth cleaned. She admired the atmosphere of the dental office and the way she felt afterwards. Leya instantly knew she wanted to be a part of it. She has now been in the dental field for over eleven years. At Dr. Hawley's office she schedules patients, verifies insurance, confirms appointments and creates treatment plans. Being able to interact and help patients on a daily basis is a rewarding experience to her.
